Mark T. Haarer Joins EnLink as Sr. VP of Business Development
RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif., Jan. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- EnLink Geoenergy Services, a leading firm in the development and installation of geothermal heat pump (GHP) heating and cooling systems, announced today the addition of Mark Haarer, formerly with Sempra Energy, as Senior Vice President of Business Development, assuming responsibility for the company's nation-wide marketing and business development efforts.
EnLink is a leader in the GHP industry and for more than 15 years has been building high quality GHP projects throughout the United States. GHP technology is widely known as the most efficient heating and cooling technology available.

Prior to signing on with EnLink, Mr. Haarer was a Regional Director of Sempra Energy's National Governmental Affairs operations, based in San Diego. Mr. Haarer supervised regional public and governmental affairs legislative and regulatory support activities. In this capacity, Mr. Haarer designed successful legislative, regulatory and community relations strategies, with emphasis on gaining local and state approval.
Mr. Haarer's passion for GHPs, and their potential for energy efficiency and sustainability, led him to EnLink, where he intends to aggressively position the technology before regulatory, legislative and private sectors.

Mr. Haarer is a member of LEAD San Diego (A civic leadership development organization) and has, among other community involvement activities, served as an appointee to the Carlsbad Unified School District Budget Committee, as well as coaching youth sports teams.
A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he received a degree in political science, Mr. Haarer also earned a Master's degree from the University of Southern California where he studied Public Administration and Public Policy.
Mr. Haarer and his wife, Tricia, have three children.
