(Nasdaq: MKTX), the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for U.S. and European high-grade corporate bonds, emerging markets bonds and other types of fixed-income securities, today announced total monthly trading volume for September 2011 of $44.7 billion, consisting of $26.9 billion in U.S. high-grade volume, $2.6 billion in eurobond volume, and $15.2 billion in other volume.
