Marketing Evolution Inc. Announces Prominent New-Hires
Sue Davidson - EVP, Managing Director, Amy Mitchell - EVP, Managing Director and Alexander Ouvaroff - EVP, Global Client Services Director
LOS ANGELES, April 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketing Evolution Inc., the leading firm in Marketing ROI analysis, announces three prominent new-hires to their progressive company roster: Sue Davidson as EVP, Managing Director of the New York office, Amy Mitchell as EVP and Managing Director of the Los Angeles office, and Alexander Ouvaroff as EVP, Global Client Services Director. All three have resplendent accomplishments and bring innovative vision and distinctive expertise to their new roles.
Sue Davidson comes to Marketing Evolution with 15 years of consulting, research, and marketing experience which she uses to help clients develop data and analysis-driven marketing, communications and product strategies. She has been a trusted partner to a broad array of Fortune 500 brands such as Pfizer, Microsoft, General Motors, Bud Light, Target, AT&T Wireless, Citigroup, Hertz, J&J, Splenda, Monster.com, FedEx and Dell. Prior to joining Marketing Evolution, she led teams of strategists and communications planners at several agencies including MediaCom, Atmosphere BBDO and Digitas. She also holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from MIT's Sloan School of Management and an M.S. in Behavioral Biology from the University of Maryland. "The insights we provide to our clients are not only actionable and agnostic, but are game changing with respect to communications planning. We provide visibility to a client's traditional 'blind spots': the drivers of metrics like awareness, consideration, and purchase intent, the differing responses of potential customer groups to your communications, and a marketing ROI."
Amy Mitchell has spent the last 15 years leading integrated marketing multidisciplinary teams of lead agencies and teams spanning all communication platforms. She has pioneered new ways of delivering medium agnostic brand strategies across disciplines, serving as the strategic integrated hub leader and trusted advisor at some of the leading global creative agencies, such as Ogilvy & Mather and McCann Erickson in New York, and TBWA/Chiat Day in Los Angeles for Fortune 500 clients such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, DuPont, and Visa. Under her leadership, Verizon Wireless achieved unprecedented and diverse growth; earning McCann Erickson several noted industry awards for marketing effectiveness. Mitchell is a native of Mississippi, but has lived and worked in London, Boston, NYC, and Los Angeles. "After being afforded opportunities to lead cutting-edge marketing 'firsts' for some of the most renowned brands, faced with some of the most complex business challenges, I was asking myself, what's next? For me, it's getting to work alongside geniuses and change agents who are redefining 'how' we make those marketing decisions with the highest degree of accountability. When marketing strategists not only have to prove ROI, but are also being asked to deliver marketing innovations, partnering with a traditional research firm or vendor isn't going to cut it. You'll want an actual strategic partner on the forefront of ROI analysis like Marketing Evolution."
Alexander Ouvaroff has over 18 years in both traditional and digital communications and has overseen business development efforts including leading global & regional communication strategies, launching product campaigns, and managing large accounts & billings for clients such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, Red Bull, Black &Decker, Fredericks of Hollywood, Applebee's, Scion/Toyota and Microsoft. Alexander worked for an extended period within the McCann network - working in the Russia, Swiss and Austria market then dedicated three years to partnering in his own agency, Lunch Advertising, where his innovative leadership landed Alexander and his partners on the cover of AdWeek. Rounding out his successful career with an increased digital and non-traditional focus, Ouvaroff helmed of MRM Los Angeles office and also WhittmanHart Interactive before moving to Marketing Evolution. "I'm excited to be joining Marketing Evolution and working alongside Rex Briggs and team in a company that is synonymous with pioneering the bleeding edge in qualified and tangible ROI advertising spend. In the results focused world we all live in today I'm truly excited to be delivering true and unsurpassed quantifiable media and advertising accountability to some of the largest companies worldwide."
"Sue, Amy, and Alexander bring a tremendous wealth of media and advertising experience, and the presence of executives of this caliber clearly represents our commitment to being highly strategic, trusted advisors to our clients. They will continue to drive Marketing Evolution's leadership position in the marketplace, and our quickly growing set of clients, partners, and team members will all benefit tremendously from their joining our team," commented Pete Frend, President and COO of Marketing Evolution.
"The focus on hiring the best and brightest marketing strategists underscores how Marketing ROI has shifted from a report card to a strategy driver," said Rex Briggs, Founder and CEO of Marketing Evolution. "We have grown at double-digit rates every year for a decade now, and the most remarkable shift is in marketers' going from looking at ROI analytics on an annual check-in basis to using ROI continuously for every campaign to constantly improve strategy and tactics. This requires more than marketing scientists. It requires top-notch marketing strategists – and that is what we've been hiring onto our team."
