Martin Fisher Joins GiftCards.com Executive Team as Chief Technology Officer

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GiftCards.com announced the newest addition to the company's executive team today, with Martin Fisher taking the role of Chief Technology Officer. Martin is a former President of Technology for America Online, former CTO of Revolution Health Group, and Founder and former CEO of Captico LLC.

Martin served as President AOL Technologies for 10 years from the early stages of the internet giant through 2003. At AOL he managed a technology team of 3,000 people that supported a multi-media digital environment of over 32 million customers. Furthermore, he was responsible for the integration of Netscape's browser into the AOL platform and for negotiating Apple's adoption of AOL's IM client. Prior to his career in technology, Martin completed several tours of duty in Vietnam in the armed forces and worked for the National Security Agency, which sparked his interest in and success with computers and technology.

Other recent incorporations include Jay Scannell, former SkyMall COO, who joined GiftCards.com in July as Chief Operating Officer; and Carlos Tribino, former Viacom International Media Networks V.P. of Marketing, who joined in early October as Chief Marketing Officer.
