NEW YORK, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Education Africa is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mary Millben as a Global Ambassador for Education Africa.
Dan Fisher, President of Education Africa Inc., says Ms Millben's appointment is coming just at the right time, when Education Africa is embarking on a marketing drive to raise awareness for the importance of supporting the educational needs of marginalized and impoverished communities in South Africa. Education Africa, a non profit organization based in Johannesburg, South Africa, was established in 1992 and has, for the past 21 years, played a key role in providing support for these communities through a substantial number of innovative and sustainable projects.
Mary Millben, whose rise to fame continues to soar, is rapidly making a huge name for herself in the entertainment industry. A featured guest soloist at presidential appearances and other prestigious events across the globe, Mary also made her debut on the New York theatre scene last year to high acclaim. She firmly believes that we owe it to future generations to become involved in projects that are designed for the improvement of humanity.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Millben says, "I am honored and thrilled to join the Education Africa team as Global Ambassador. Education Africa is leading the way in providing vital educational, development and business programs throughout South Africa. I believe we should all be charged in our daily pursuits to incorporate energies towards bettering humanity and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Moreover, I feel it is a moral duty to assist communities in need. Education Africa is a beacon of light to impoverished areas and is restoring hope through daily acts of service. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and work as an advocate for Education Africa."
