Matt Crockett, MHA Joins Eating Recovery Center of Washington Leadership Team

BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Eating Recovery Center of Washington, a center of excellence providing comprehensive eating disorder treatment to patients and families in the Northwest region, today announced that Matt Crockett, MHA has assumed the role of Executive Director. A seasoned behavioral healthcare executive, Crockett possesses extensive experience in business development, physician relations, payer relations, service line management, operational leadership and financial management. 

As Executive Director, Crockett will oversee all organizational functions of Eating Recovery Center of Washington, establishing and maintaining systems to ensure patient clinical and safety needs are met in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Together with Lisa Geraud, LMFT, RD, Executive Clinical Director, and Eating Recovery Center's Denver-based leadership, he will maintain efficient, compassionate policies and procedures to meet the diverse needs of patients, families and referring professionals seeking specialized eating disorder care.

Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center of Washington, Crockett served as Assistant Administrator at Fairfax Hospital, an independent psychiatric hospital in Kirkland, Washington, as well Chief Executive Officer at Seattle-based Cascade Behavioral Hospital. During his 22 year tenure with Highline Medical Center, he served in several administrative roles, including Assistant Hospital Administrator from 2006 to 2013. In that role, Crockett oversaw all post-acute divisions, including leadership of the geropsychiatry inpatient unit, chemical dependency program, intensive outpatient program, partial hospital program, skilled nursing unit, physical rehabilitation and emergency department.

Crockett joins Eating Recovery Center of Washington on the heels of several important developments. In 2014, Eating Recovery Center of Washington increased access to specialized eating disorder care by expanding capacity in its Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Additionally, a Residential program was added on the Overlake Hospital Medical Campus in Bellevue to provide a broader spectrum of care within Eating Recovery Center of Washington.
