Mattie Fein Wins Republican Nomination to Unseat Jane Harman

TORRANCE, Calif., June 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Following is a statement by Mattie Fein:

Words cheapen my gratitude for the tireless and enthusiastic support I received from so many to capture the Republican Party nomination for the 36th congressional district on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. THANK YOU!! The Constitution entrusts sovereignty to "We the People." My batteries have been refreshed. I am fully equipped to duel with the antiquated representation of Jane Harman over her seat. My campaign will feature attacks on Harman's serial violations of her constitutional oath; tax and spend extravagances; infatuations with Big Brother and job-killing regulations; assaults on privacy and civil liberties; and, staggering and unsustainable trillion dollar budget deficits that strangle credit for small business—the golden goose of job creation. We shall soldier on. As Churchill would have said if he had been in this fight, we will fight Harman for every voter in every square inch of the 36th district. Being the underdog makes victory all the sweeter.

Jane Harman has had no comment regarding the general election except through her consultant Harvey Englander.  After 16 years of representation, Harman needs to come out from hiding behind her consultant.  Let Jane Harman herself answer questions about her voting record, conflicts of interests, how many votes she was obligated to recuse herself from, jobs/economy, and security.

I challenge Jane Harman to a debate next week on the issues Mr. Englander has mentioned recently.
