Max Sound Corporation Announces Update of Recent Events

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Max Sound Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MAXD) (the "Company"), the provider of high definition audio solutions, announced today an update on its recent events.

Since the completion of the Company's shift in focus earlier this year to direct its full efforts to its Max Sound product, it has demonstrated its advanced HD Audio solution to a number of multi-media industry companies that could benefit from its use. This list contains major players in industries including broadcasting, movies, games and music. All of the companies have engaged us to begin their due diligence on how our process can improve their products. We are currently in different stages with each company, processing their content and moving towards agreements that we expect will move the use of Max Sound technology into the mainstream.

On May 23, 2011 the Company became a Solution Provider to Akamai under its Digital Media Partner Program thereby allowing us to offer HD Audio to Akamai's customers. Our staff has taken the initial steps necessary for integration into Akamai. The Akamai logo is now on our website and we have begun building a new version of MaxSound.com in HTML5 where we will soon start connecting our websites to provide information regarding the benefits Max Sound can provide to Akamai customers.

We previously announced the Company's formation of an Advisory Board and appointed Frank Correa (Former Attorney of the Late Michael Jackson), Frank Serafine (Academy Award Sound "Hunt for Red October" and creator of the sound for "TRON") and Fred Walecki (founder of Westwood Music) an Icon in the Music industry for over 30 years. The Advisory Board may have up to ten members. The Company is currently reviewing additional candidates for positions on the Advisory Board.

Six weeks ago we began the development of a Max Sound Smart phone App for the Android operating system, which we expect will be available for all Android devices in the future. This technology will provide HD Audio to all audio and video available on Android devices.  We are also working on an App for iPhone and iPad.

On August 20, 2011, we completed a two million dollar offering, which raised just under 1.9 million dollars. With this additional capital, we have begun to accelerate the execution of our business plan.
