Maxim Healthcare Services Announces New Chief Financial and Strategy Officer

COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. (www.maximhealthcare.com), an established provider of home healthcare, medical staffing, and wellness services, today announced an addition to the executive management team. Brett Barlag has joined Maxim Healthcare as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.

In Brett's role at Maxim Healthcare, he will direct the Company's financial, accounting, and business strategy operations. Brett brings to Maxim Healthcare years of experience helping healthcare companies improve and strengthen their regulatory processes, develop powerful data driven analytics to measure and manage their business performance, respond to regulatory investigations, evaluate and develop corporate compliance programs, and assess and manage regulatory risk. 

Prior to joining Maxim Healthcare, Brett served as a senior managing director at FTI Consulting, Inc.  Brett's industry experience is vast having worked with companies across the healthcare supply chain including acute care hospitals and hospital systems, post-acute care providers, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and retail and specialty pharmacies.
