May 23 Construction Outreach Fair Kicks off New Bulls Practice Facility Project
CHICAGO, May 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Bulls, James McHugh Construction Co., and Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr. will host an outreach fair Thursday, May 23 for qualified construction subcontractors in union trades. Firms that are certified MBE or WBE should bring a copy of their current certification.
The fair will begin at 11:30 AM with an introduction to the project team and scope. The event will be held at the United Center, 1901 West Madison Street, Chicago, Illinois in the Main Concourse. Please enter the building through Gate 6. Parking can be found in Lot K south of the United Center.
McHugh was selected to provide general contracting services to the Chicago Bulls for their new 60,000-square-foot practice facility to be located one block east of the United Center. The facility will feature a large practice court, locker rooms, therapy areas, video/meeting rooms, offices, and a parking lot. Team members will be in attendance to discuss the project, along with representatives from the Chicago Bulls.
The Chicago Bulls and McHugh are committed to providing opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses to be part of the construction team.
