Maynard Webb to Deliver Keynote Address at the CIO Global Forum

PLEASANTON, Calif., Oct. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Telwares CIO Global Forum is pleased to announce that Maynard Webb, Founder of Webb Investment Network, former COO of eBay, Chairman of LiveOps, will serve as the opening keynote speaker during the two day event on November 6 - 7 in New York City.

Maynard's speech will focus on the paradigm shifts happening in the workplace today, driven by outdated work models and the explosion of technology. He will also explore themes and critical takeaways from his upcoming book "Rebooting Work: Transform How You Work in the Age of Entrepreneurship," available in January 2013.

Mr. Webb joined LiveOps in 2006, leading the company to profitability and achieving double-digit revenue growth year over year. Prior to joining LiveOps, Maynard was the COO of eBay where he has been credited with creating organizational processes and day-to-day structures that enabled eBay to grow from $140 million to over $4.5 billion in revenue and from 250 to over 12,000 employees.  A respected member of the Silicon Valley technology community, Maynard sits on the boards of several successful companies including salesforce.com, Yahoo!, and LiveOps.  He has also served on the boards of Gartner, Hyperion, Skype, Niku and Extensity. Maynard has held various advisory roles including serving on President George W. Bush's National Infrastructure Advisory Council and the Engineering Advisory Board at Santa Clara University.
