Maynards to Conduct Machinery and Equipment Sales from Hino Motors Manufacturing Facility in Marion, AR
DETROIT, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Maynards, a global leader in industrial asset liquidation and valuation, is pleased to announce a series of sales for machinery and equipment from Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc.'s state-of-the-art facility in Marion, Arkansas. The sales follow the scheduled closure of the 510,000-square-foot facility, which specialized in manufacturing rear axles, knuckles, and suspension components for light trucks and vehicles.
The Marion plant represents one of the most modern automotive production environments in the United States, with the majority of machinery and equipment manufactured between 2022 and 2024 and installed under power. Buyers will gain access to a remarkable offering of late-model assets ideally suited for automotive, robotics, precision machining, and heavy manufacturing applications.
Highlights include:
- Robotics and Welding Systems: Over 360 robots, including more than 265 Fanuc robots (2020–2024), 80 robotic welding cells, and hundreds of Miller and Lincoln welding power supplies.
- CNC Machining and Turning: 27 CNC machining and turning centers as late as 2024, including Okuma MA-500H II horizontal machining centers, Okuma V760EX CNC vertical turning centers, and Haas vertical machining centers.
- Custom and Production Equipment: Over 80 custom-built CNC machining and turning centers designed for axle and component production.
- Presses and Lines: A 2,810-ton Hitachi Zosen Fukui transfer press, a 1,461-ton blanking press with coil line, and an Amino die spotting press.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Zeiss, Mitutoyo, and Marposs inspection systems, as late as 2023.
- Heat Treat and Spline Rolling: Ajax Tocco induction heaters (2023–2024) and Anderson-Cook shaft spline rollers (2023).
- Assembly Cells and Parts Washers: Six vehicle rear axle and differential assembly cells and more than 20 late-model Almco and Nikko Create washers.
- Plant Support: 33-ton overhead bridge cranes, Ingersoll Rand centrifugal air compressors, dust collectors, toolrooms, and large MRO inventories.
