McAlister's Deli Announces Opening of Restaurants in Abilene and Andrews, Texas

ALPHARETTA, Ga., Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- McAlister's Deli™, a leading fast casual restaurant, announces it will open two new locations in Texas on Monday, Jan. 27, with franchisee Southwest Deli. McAlister's in North Abilene will be located at 849 N Judge Ely Blvd., and is Southwest Deli's second restaurant in Abilene. The Andrews location will open at 1200 N. Main Street. Southwest Deli is the first McAlister's franchisee to open two locations in a single day.

"Our first Abilene restaurant, which opened in September of last year, has been such a success that we decided it was the right time to expand our presence in the community.  In addition, we look forward to introducing McAlister's delicious food and genuine hospitality to local residents in Andrews," said Larry Lee, owner of Southwest Deli. To celebrate the openings and introduce McAlister's to the local communities, both restaurants will donate all tips during the first month of operation to local charities. Funds raised at the North Abilene restaurant will be donated to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, while tips at the Andrews location will go to the Permian Basin Rehab Center in Odessa, Texas.
