NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ - MDC Partners (www.mdc-partners.com) announced today that they have acquired from Newport Partners Holdings L.P., a majority interest in leading advertising and marketing services agency Capital C Communications Inc. (http://www.capitalc.typepad.com) and entered into a long-term equity partnership arrangement with all of the partners at Capital C.  The award winning full service agency, with over 100 employees, is best known for creating big ideas that work, and was recently nominated by Marketing Magazine as one of their 2010 "Agencies of the Year", an award they won in 2006. Their blue chip client list includes PepsiCo Food & Beverages Canada, PepsiCo Inc.
