MDC Partners promotes Bob Kantor to Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer

Has Significantly Grown Business and Cultivated Collaboration Amongst Partner Firms Throughout the Network

NEW YORK, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - MDC Partners Inc. announced today that they have promoted Bob Kantor to Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. The promotion comes a year after Mr. Kantor joined the network to lead marketing and business development initiatives. Since that time, Bob has worked with many of the MDC Partners agencies to maximize revenue growth potential, generate new business momentum, develop world-class management practices, and align client needs with respective partner agency core expertise.

In his newly expanded role, Mr. Kantor will continue to develop strategic initiatives for member agencies to grow both organically and through new business development. He is tasked with further developing agency alliances and partnerships as well as building the infrastructure to support this growth. During his tenure at MDC Partners he has counseled a number of agencies on management practices, put together network wide collaborations and overseen a number of key new business pitches and wins. Mr. Kantor was instrumental in the development of the new live MDC Partners website, and was the driver of the collaboration between Wired Magazine and the network on the Wired Disruptive by Design conference in Partnership with MDC Partners, which brought together 300 of the business world's top thought leaders.

Prior to joining MDC, Mr. Kantor was CEO of Publicis NY, President of Lowe & Partners, and founded and built Rotter Kantor, an integrated communications company and Hanger Network, the country's largest green marketing media platform. Throughout his career, Mr. Kantor has helped build the brands of some of the industry's most respected and successful companies including BMW, Coca Cola, Hasbro, L'Oreal, Novartis, P&G, Reebok, Toshiba and Unilever.
