Company has worldwide license for Vivatia®
SAN DIEGO, Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MDRejuvena, Inc., a private company focused on skin health, has launched the Vivatia® skin lightening product line in the U.S. Vivatia® incorporates a patented, proprietary foam technology that enhances the dispersion and absorption of active ingredients into the skin. Vivatia has been clinically studied and proven effective for hyperpigmentation, anti-aging and photodamage of the face, which represent the fastest growing segments in the skincare market.
MDRejuvena has obtained an exclusive, worldwide license to the patents, trademarks and know-how for Vivatia. When Vivatia was previously marketed by PrecisionMD, prior to its acquisition by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, the product line enjoyed strong consumer acceptance and had thousands of customers in the professional market.
Hyperpigmentation is a major skincare problem around the world. It results from a number of causes, including photodamage from the sun, pregnancy, hormonal changes, inflammation and cosmetic procedures like laser treatment and chemical peels. It can also be caused by several skin conditions, such as melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).

Vivatia
Vivatia is a skin brightening system that includes three components:
- Gentle Hydrating Cleanser (am/pm) - Helps clean away dirt, impurities and make-up while prepping the skin for the second and third components.
- Active Repair Complex 0.5% (pm) - A foam that combines stabilized retinol with a proprietary mix of anti-aging ingredients, such as antioxidants, peptides, and vitamins, all of which help to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and brown spots for more radiant looking skin.
- Brighten 10: Brightening Complex (pm/am optional) - A hydrating foam that contains 2% hydroquinone in addition to nine complementary ingredients that reduce the appearance of pigmentation and darks sports and leaves more luminous looking skin.
