LOS ANGELES, March 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mechelle Epps is pleased to announce the launch of her debut collection, Memenic. The collection will be shown for the first time, in an installation, on the evening of Friday, March 9th during Concept Los Angeles Fashion Week held at ACE GALLERY. Coca Cola, Smart Water, and Sapporo will sponsor Concept Los Angeles Fashion Week.

"I am thrilled to finally share this collection with everyone," says Mechelle Epps. Epps will be present during the event to introduce Memenic's Fall 2012 day-to-night dress collection. "I designed Memenic as a solution for busy women," says Epps. The ability to go from work to a social event is key for the Memenic designer, actress, and mom. Influenced by the fast-paced lifestyle, Memenic brings a practical, and fashion forward solution to women balancing work, home and social life.

Epps focuses on creating classic silhouettes with one-of-a-kind details to highlight each garment. "I was inspired by the timeless style of French women. They really understand silhouette, and how to dress for their body type," says Mechelle Epps. Memenic's Fall 2012 collection modernizes a few classic pieces and includes a true original, the Memenic "Signature" dress.

MECHELLE EPPS, Mechelle first entered the fashion and entertainment industries at the age of 14, working in local productions, modeling, and appearing in beauty pageants. Through the years, Mechelle has preserved a successful career, appearing in several films including The Fighting Temptations opposite Oscar winner, Cuba Gooding Jr. and multi-Grammy winning recording artist and actress, Beyonce. Mechelle currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Mike Epps, and two children.
