MedAssurant Supports the American Gastroenterological Association's Successful Submission of 2010 PQRS Quality Measure Data

BOWIE, Md., March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MedAssurant, Inc., today announced its support of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) in the successful submission of 2010 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) quality measure data through the AGA Digestive Health Outcomes Registry™.  AGA member physicians are now using this powerful benchmarking and quality tool powered by MedAssurant to document and report pay-for-performance measures to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The AGA registry is designed to improve quality of care across the gastroenterological community, while simultaneously enabling AGA members to strengthen the business side of their medical practices.  The registry also enables them to qualify for Medicare reimbursement bonuses by documenting and reporting basic patient data to PQRS.
