Medbox to Host Free Educational Seminar & Demonstration April 3rd in Massachusetts

The event will be led by Medbox CEO, Dr. Bruce Bedrick. Dr. Bedrick and the Medbox team are the most successful consultants in the medical marijuana industry, having helped hundreds of clients navigate the difficult path of state and local licensure and permitting.  This seminar is an opportunity for potential Massachusetts medical marijuana industry entrepreneurs to meet with one of the foremost experts in the field. Attendees will learn how the newly revised rules impact applications and businesses; see a demonstration of the Medbox suite of technology in person; and get answers to every question about operating a business in this industry.

On March 29, the Department of Health is set to release the first draft of laws by which the state's new medical marijuana industry will be regulated. There is a strong belief that the rules will mandate that the state utilizes a real time, seed-to-patient database to monitor the program.  This will be a first in the industry and will create the new "gold standard" for regulating medical marijuana going forward. Dr. Bedrick, who recently opened a Medbox office in Natick, Mass., will explain the how the rules will affect prospective applicants and how the dispensary should lawfully operate. Most importantly, he will offer suggestions on how to produce the best application, enhancing chances of being awarded one of the coveted 35 licenses that will be awarded by the state.  He will provide information on the industry and explain how to open and operate a legal and compliant medical marijuana dispensary.
