From today, the MEGA Charts will be published every Friday, just 15 hours after the official data collection deadline, at  http://www.charts.de. This makes media control the fastest chart compiler in Germany.

The data collection period for a chart week begins on Friday, which is the standard chart release day worldwide, as stipulated by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). media control collects its data until midnight on Thursday night. By 3pm on the following day, the full MEGA Charts TOP 100 will be published and made freely available at http://www.charts.de. All the analyses and statistics accompanying the MEGA Charts are published by MusikWoche of Busch Entertainment Media, media control's exclusive specialist media partner.
