Media Storm Brings On Three New Executive Team Members
Hires, in response to continued growth, will focus on "Full Force" media model, research/analytics and talent acquisition
NEW YORK, March 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Media Storm LLC, the strategic media and marketing division of Water Cooler Group, today announced the addition of three new executive team members. These new hires represent further investment as the second largest independent media agency in the U.S. continues to build momentum after a string of client wins over the past few months.
Media Storm has brought on Gary Nelson as Managing Director, Connections & Full Force. His role is to work with the planning teams to further develop unpaid media solutions the agency has developed under its unique "Full Force" model. Gary's background in creative, strategy and media provides a prime intersection of skills for his new role in maximizing a brand's owned and earned media as a trigger to ignite and amplify paid media. His background includes TBWA Chiat/Day (Nissan/Infiniti accounts), Ammirati Puris Lintas (Compaq), JWT (Warner Lambert), Wunderman, agency.com (Citibank, British Airways and Discovery Networks) and Organic (Bank of America, P&G's Pur, Iams, Eukanuba, BBC).
Rebecca Tellez-Higgins is joining Media Storm as Director of Research & Analytics. Throughout her career, Rebecca has led innovation and insights teams for Fox International, MTV and Nickelodeon as well as the Discovery U.S. Hispanic group. The latter highlighted her expertise within the Hispanic market and was rewarded with the Cable Beacon Award (cable's highest award) for multicultural marketing. Rebecca also has extensive brand and strategy experience, having the led the redesign and brand communication efforts for Liberty Mutual.
As the new Chief Talent Officer for Water Cooler Group and its divisions including Media Storm, MAUDE and HIP Genius, Michelle Guglielmelli will manage talent, human resources and the development / integration of talent strategy in all areas of the business. Prior to joining Water Cooler Group, Michelle held HR leadership positions as SVP, Human Resources at New Line Cinema and Managing Partner, HR and Talent Management at MEC. Under Michelle's leadership, MEC was a 2013 Adweek Project Isaac Gold winner for HR Invention, "Inspire Happiness."
