MediaTek CEO to Keynote on The Future of the Internet at Computex 2014

HSINCHU, Taiwan, May 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaTek will showcase the reality of Everyday Genius at COMPUTEX Taipei 2014 with an immersive open booth, and keynote speech by Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ming-Kai Tsai to outline the company's vision for the future and how it is enabling the brand vision of Everyday Genius.

The keynote speech and booth will fully display MediaTek's product and solutions demonstrating the immense synergy between MediaTek platforms as well as leadership in the Internet of Things. During his keynote entitled 'Enabling Limitless Possibilities in the Cloud Era – Everyday Genius', Mr. Tsai will outline his vision for future of the Internet of Things and Cloud 2.0, and MediaTek's role in turning the hype into a reality. His speech will take place on Wednesday June 4 at 10:05 am Taiwan.

At COMPUTEX Taipei 2014, MediaTek will be showcasing its 4G LTE solutions for the first time ever, including the first LTE multimode MT6290, which was fully tested and certified for China Mobile's network a month ago. In addition, to elevate the high-end smartphone experience to new heights for consumers worldwide, MediaTek will start mass producing the world's first true octa-core 4G LTE System on Chip (SoC) MT6595 in the third quarter of this year.
