Medic Vision Partners with Global Leader Hisense for the Integration of SafeCT Advanced Image Processing in Hisense Medical Products

TIRAT CARMEL, Israel, Nov. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RSNA Booth 4335 –  Medic Vision Imaging Solutions, Ltd., the leading innovator of vendor-independent image enhancement solutions for low-dose CT exams, announced today that Hisense Medical Equipment Co., a global display and image processing company, chose to partner with the company for the integration of SafeCT technology with its advanced medical solutions. Medic Vision's SafeCT, a universal 3D iterative image reconstruction system, enhances CT images acquired with low-dose protocols on conventional scanners. The integrated Medic Vision – Hisense products are set to be launched in 2015.

Hisense Medical is a subsidiary of China-based Hisense Group, a multibillion-dollar global conglomerate and leading provider of technologies including flat panel TVs and displays. Through the cooperative agreement, Medic Vision's leading-edge iterative image reconstruction technology will be paired with medical display and 3D model reconstruction expertise from Hisense to develop advanced visualization solutions for radiologists and physicians including for diagnosis and preoperative planning and simulation. Both companies' technological expertise will come together within a unified system that reconstructs and displays 3D models of organs such as the liver or kidney, for preoperative surgical assessment.
