Acquisition positions MDBL and FCMG for Success
MELBOURNE, Fla., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Taking another step to position itself as a national leader in providing an innovative state-of-the-art approach to healthcare management, Medical Billing Assistance, Inc. (OTCBB:MDBL, Stock Twits: $MDBL) ("MDBL") announced today that, through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries FCID Medical, Inc. (FCID), it has signed a letter of intent to acquire First Choice Medical Group of Brevard, LLC ("FCMG"). In addition to the letter of intent, FCID has entered into an exclusive Management Agreement with FCMG to take over all of its business operations until and through the date of closing on the acquisition.
The closing has been set to occur within 30 days after state and federal authorities have authorized and issued the proper licensing required for the acquisition to close.
The acquisition provides FCMG physicians with MDBL's expertise in building efficiencies into their practice while implementing MDBL's new model for better healthcare management and billing solutions. In addition to practice efficiencies, MDBL will also be providing the physicians additional diagnostic equipment an ancillary services that will allow physicians, patients and shareholders to capitalize on the value and benefits of MDBL's unique model.
