The May 3, 2017, Entrepreneur article titled "Researchers Amazed by Cases of Cannabis Helping Children Failed by Conventional Medicine" also included interviews with three families who were in attendance at the April 21-22 World Medical Cannabis Conference and Expo (WMCCE) in Pittsburgh, Pa. Each family used some sort of cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil product with their children.

The article also discusses the role Mexican medical cannabis activist Raul Elizalde, the father of Grace Elizalde, has played in unifying the voices of families and patients in need of medical cannabis in Mexico.
