Medical Marijuana, Inc. Portfolio Company CanChew BioTechnologies Inc. Updates and Expands Free Product Trial

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC: MJNA), a leading hemp industry innovator and its portfolio company CanChew Biotechnologies is pleased to announce that registration for their free product trial of CanChew gum was met with great enthusiasm. 

The offer was originally extended on Oct. 1 to 250 participants, on a first come/first served basis.  It was to include patients suffering from a variety of health issues who would share specific feedback regarding usage and experience. However, due to overwhelming response and a review of regulatory standards, the Company has chosen to reassess its vision for the offer.  It is now focused upon gaining market intelligence for upcoming product offerings. 

Under the updated guidelines, 500 individuals will receive the 30-day free sample of the CBD-based CanChew gum in exchange for their feedback on the appearance, branding and taste of the gum.

Participants can look forward to receiving a minimum one-month supply of the functional CBD gum, which contains approximately 7 milligrams of CBD per piece and will be blister packed in 8 and 32 count packages.  Three different versions of the gum varying in brand, appearance and taste will be randomly distributed and feedback for each specifically tracked.

All three versions of the gum that participants will receive contain high concentrations of CBD hemp oil and its raw ingredients are derived from the operations of PhytoSphere systems, an MJNA portfolio company.  Medical Marijuana, Inc. anticipates selling these products via the Internet and portfolio company Red Dice Holdings' national distribution platform. Currently, Red Dice Holdings distributes a variety of CBD Hemp oil products in over 500 retail locations throughout Colorado, Arizona, California and New Mexico.
