MedPage Today Editor Honored at 60th Neal Awards for the Most Wins

NEW YORK, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyday Health, Inc. is pleased to announce that Marianne Dekker Mattera, Executive Managing Editor at the company's medical news site for healthcare professionals, MedPage Today, was honored today by the American Business Media at its 60^th annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards. She has been recognized for earning the prestigious Neal Award 18 times, which is more than anyone else.  This is the first time the Neal Awards presented this distinguished honor.

Prior to joining MedPage Today, Marianne spent six years as editor-in-chief of business publication Medical Economics and 11 years as editor of nurse-focused clinical journal RN. Additionally, she has edited two books in the healthcare field. For all of her achievements and accomplishments, Mattera has won 18 Neal Awards. She was also the 1997 recipient of the G.D. Crain, Jr. Award, which is given annually in recognition of editorial excellence in business media.
