MedPro Imaging Hits Sales Milestones
Record Month Drives Third Quarter Results with Sales to Major Institutions
WAUKESHA, Wis., Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MedPro Imaging, a premium provider of new and refurbished ultrasound solutions, reported record third quarter sales including its best ever month with the sale of 400 ultrasound systems and transducers, an increase of 50 percent over the same period last year. The Company also announced that as part of the record quarter, it has placed systems recently at several luminary accounts, including Nebraska Heart Institute, USC University Hospital, and the Seattle-based interventional pain management clinic of Jason Attaman, MD.
"MedPro's innovative approach to supplying ultrasound equipment was a perfect match for our organization as Nebraska Heart continues to expand its award winning cardiac services to rural Nebraska," says Jeff Gonzalez, RRT, director of Clinical Operations with Nebraska Heart.
"As we began identifying our needs for medical equipment, it was determined that both quality and industry longevity were important to a partnership," says Steven Martin, MD, cardiologist with Nebraska Heart Institute. "We feel MedPro brings both of these attributes and will enable Nebraska Heart to continue in providing the finest in patient care."
HealthGrades, the leading independent healthcare ratings organization, announces that the Nebraska Heart Hospital is once again among the top five percent in the nation for Cardiology Services. In 2003, Nebraska's first heart-exclusive hospital, the Nebraska Heart Hospital, began providing patient care. The 63-bed, state-of-the-art facility provides patients and families throughout the region with leading-edge services delivered in a caring environment. NHH includes three operating suites, three cardiac catheterization labs and peripheral vascular and electrophysiology labs with comprehensive imaging services.
According to Dr. Attaman, DO, FAAPMR, ultrasound is growing in importance to the safe and accurate delivery of pain management. "High performance ultrasound gives us the ability to accurately visualize soft tissues such as ligaments, joints and tendons, to help localize the source of pain as well as guide treatment without Xray radiation. As I was opening my practice, I needed a new ultrasound system and MedPro arranged a great deal on a Terason T3000. Their response and service was great and I look forward to an ongoing relationship," added Dr Attaman.
"Ultrasound remains the clinical workhorse in imaging and particularly with what's happening in the economy, clinicians need access to the highest quality systems at the best price with the best service," said Keith Rubenstein, senior vice president of sales and marketing for MedPro. "This has been MedPro's approach from Day One and we continue to experience strong sales as a result."
