
MEET Las Vegas Named Best New Venue in the West
LAS VEGAS, June 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MEET Las Vegas, a unique event and meeting venue, was honored by the events industry this week with the West Event Style Award for Best New Venue. The award presented by leading events industry publisher BizBash in Pasadena, CA, recognized the most outstanding new event location to open in 2010 in the Western United States.

Winners were selected by a panel of event industry professionals and BizBash editors. Competition was open to any venue in the western region of the U.S. that opened between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

The 2011 BizBash West Event Style Awards were presented in 16 categories, including Best Corporate Event Concept, Best Gift Bag, Best Invitation Design, Best Catering at an Event, Best New Venue, Best Video, and Best Fresh Idea. Other award winners included the Governors Balls following the Emmys and Oscars and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The award was accepted by MEET's Director of Sales, Angela Roberts CSEP, CMP on Tuesday, June 14th at a ceremony following the BizBash West Expo and Awards at the Pasadena Convention Center.
