MegaTV Puerto Rico Premiers the New Season of "Los Implicados" Anchored by Allan Villafana

MIAMI, Oct. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MegaTV Puerto Rico, announced today that beginning, Monday October 24th, at 6 p.m. (ET), the Spanish-language channel will air the new season of its investigation and analysis program "Los Implicados". The program, hosted by award-winning investigative journalist, Allan Villafana returns this season with a hard-core look at some of the day's most controversial news from some surprising angles. "Los Implicados" will involve the viewing audience intimately and honestly in the political, economic, criminal, health and social stories and current affairs which affect us every day. Los Implicados will be on the air from Monday through Friday at 6 p.m.(ET) on MegaTV Puerto Rico.
"Los Implicados" is a daily, live forum of opposing opinions. A one-of-a-kind, hour-long analysis with experts and the major figures shaping today's news. The show will include audacious interviews by host Allan Villafana, who is known for his unique and extensive view of the reporting world. The show will also make active use of the Internet and social networks to connect with public opinion.

About Allan Villafana:
Villafana has traveled the world on assignments from the coverage of natural disasters to world events such as the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and Athens in 2004. He also became a war correspondent when Telemundo network sent him to Central Command on the As Sayliyah base at Doha, Qatar, in the Middle East during the Iraq invasion in 2003.
The journalist was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and began work in his homeland after graduating from Ohio State University at Columbus with a journalism degree. During his professional career he has worked as a news reporter in San Francisco, California, New York City and Miami, Florida.
Since early 2006, Allan has been one of the most important personalities of the Spanish language television market in the U.S., through MegaTV.
