Melanie Brandt To Become First Executive Director Of The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Atlanta

ATLANTA, May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ACG Atlanta, the Atlanta Chapter of The Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), a global professional organization focused on middle-market growth, mergers and acquisitions, and private investment, today announced that Melanie Brandt will become the Atlanta Chapter's first Executive Director, effective June 3rd.

Melanie Brandt's experience includes more than five years with the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), first as a Director, and then since 2009 in an executive role as their Chief Operations Officer. Prior to her executive role at TAG, Brandt served in an Economic Development capacity for the Gwinnett Chamber's Partnership Gwinnett Initiative, where she was responsible for the recruitment, retention and expansion of technology companies, and in a volunteer role as the President of the Atlanta Telecom Professionals from 2004-2005.
The search for the first Executive Director of ACG Atlanta was conducted by Pat Romboletti with The Sandhurst Group.
