Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Sabelhaus was Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Former President George W. Bush nominated her for the post and the United States Senate unanimously confirmed her. As SBA Deputy Administrator, Ms. Sabelhaus served as second in command- responsible for policy development, program supervision, and lending for the SBA.
Ms. Sabelhaus has devoted her energy and passion toward supporting many non-profits. She is currently Vice Chair of the National Board of the American Red Cross, serves on the Johns Hopkins Health System Board, and previously the Women's Board of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. She is a member of the Belezian Grove, an international women's organization and is Chair of the Boston Pops event supporting the Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
