Memjet and Image Star Announce Strategic Distribution Partnership for Memjet-Powered C6000 Series Devices

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Memjet and Image Star, a leading wholesaler of imaging products, announced a partnership in which Image Star will become a US distributor for Memjet-powered C6000 Series printers and related supplies. Image Star will sell the C6010 printer and C6030 MFP (Multi-function Printer), as well as Memjet replacement printheads, ink tanks, and refilled ink tanks. Refilled ink tanks will be filled with authentic Memjet ink through authorized processes and sold at a discount to resellers. Image Star's expanded product line offering will ensure its customers looking to extend color printing technology solutions in the New Year have access to these offerings. With the C6000 Series printers, businesses can print both everyday office documents in color at a fraction of typical costs, as well as edge-to-edge marketing and sales documents at one page per second. Both devices release up to 700 million drops of ink per second to create impactful color printouts on a wide range of media. The C6010 is a high-speed color printer, ideal for business looking for productive and affordable color printing solutions. The C6030 MFP combines the high-speed color printer with a copier and scanner to provide a business with additional workflow-friendly scan to email/file and copy functions.
