Men's Fitness Hits All-Time Record For Monthly Web Traffic
Breaks 8 Million Unique Mark; Revenue, Page Views Show Rapid Growth
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Media, Inc. announced today that mensfitness.com broke its all-time record for monthly web traffic in July, exceeding 8.4 million unique visitors. That represents a 106 percent increase over last July and tops the previous all-time high set in January of 2014. The website also saw an all-time high in page views with 60,144,628.
"This is not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Men's Fitness team, but to the commitment of American Media CEO David Pecker to deploy the resources needed to create a premiere lifestyle brand," said Men's Fitness Editorial Director and CEO of Galvanized David Zinczenko. "Young, upscale men were in need of a brand that spoke to them and provided them with the fitness, grooming and style tools they need to set a new standard of success in their careers and in their personal lives."
Website traffic is up more than 150 percent since Zinczenko's company oversaw a complete brand relaunch in June of 2013. In addition to the website growth, Men's Fitness has seen newsstand sales increase 20 percent in the second half of 2013 and has also seen overall brand revenue increase by more than 33 percent with the addition of high-end lifestyle advertisers including Mercedes Benz, Tommy Hilfiger, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Microsoft, Amazon, Bacardi, and Movado.
