Menz & Gasser Tempted to Taste the Benefits of Digital Transformation with Infor

NEW YORK, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Infor, a leading provider of industry-specific cloud applications, today announced that Italian jam and marmalade manufacturer Menz & Gasser, has selected Infor technology to help digitally transform the business. The transformation is expected to begin with a project designed to help standardize operations, drive new product development and improve supply chain performance. To be deployed by Infor partner Avaap, Infor OS and Infor PLM Optiva are expected to be key elements of a company-wide evolution of business processes already supported by Infor LN ERP.

Following a thorough review of the market, Infor was selected in part, because of the flexibility of the Infor hybrid cloud model. This flexibility is designed to enable Menz & Gasser to deploy these applications initially on premise and then migrate to the cloud following a major infrastructure upgrade, currently planned for 2020.

Menz & Gasser has undergone a substantial period of growth, leading to the deployment of an array of different, customized applications supporting the production, product development, document flows and project management business processes, but without the support of a dedicated solution.

By implementing Infor technologies, Menz & Gasser plans to leverage an integrated set of functionalities and standardized business processes. The potential benefits focus especially on improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes around product development, industrialization and supply chain flows.
