Merced Systems Announces Strong First Quarter 2010 Results

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Merced Systems, Inc., www.mercedsystems.com, the leading provider of sales performance management and service performance management software and solutions, announced today that the company delivered robust first quarter results. Sales grew at a double-digit rate compared to first quarter results in 2009. These results follow record first quarter results in 2009 as well as record annual sales for 2009.

Goldberg was formerly CEO of Zend Technologies, the leading open source company behind PHP. Goldberg came to Zend from BMC Software where he was senior vice president of worldwide marketing. Goldberg brings more than 20 years of software expertise to Merced Systems.

Morris was formerly vice president of Easylink Services International, which offers an expansive collection of automated messaging SaaS solutions. Morris joins the company with considerable experience in corporate enterprise solutions having served as vice president for the Northern European Division of both FileNET and, prior to that, OpenText.
