Merrick Towle Communications Wins Prestigious Awards From Three Prestigious Real Estate Associations
BELTSVILLE, Md., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In a statement issued today, Harry L. Merrick IV, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merrick Towle Communications ("MTC"), announced that the agency has won multiple awards from three separate, prestigious real estate associations. Within the last week, the agency won three national awards from the National Association of Home Builders ("NAHB"), three metropolitan Chicago market awards from the Chicagoland Apartment Association ("CAA") and three metropolitan Washington, DC market awards from the Great American Living Awards ("GALA").
The NAHB awarded MTC with a 2010 Pillars of the Industry Award for best overall leasing campaign for a rental apartment community for the agency's work on Allegro (www.AllegroSpaces.com), a hip, luxury apartment community in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC. The agency also won a Pillars Award for best property website for designing and developing the website for Park Place at Petworth Metro (www.ParkPlace-DC.com), a bold, mid-rise apartment community in Washington, DC.
The CAA recognized MTC with three Chicagoland Apartment Marketing and Management Excellence ("CAMME") awards for the agency's work on 215 West Apartments. The agency won for best property advertising campaign, for best property marketing in electronic form (for 215WestApts.com and corresponding interactive touch-screen leasing kiosks) and for property marketing and advertising excellence for the entire market. 215 West is a brand new, 389 unit, 50-story apartment residence at 215 West Washington Street. The project is LEED Registered and seeks LEED Certification in early 2011.

The agency won best overall campaign for an individual community and best individual community website for The Alaire (www.TheAlaire.com), a 279 unit apartment community anchoring the multi-use development at the Twinbrook Metro Station in Rockville, Maryland.
