Meteor Agrees To Acquire Percolate Studio To Further Advance as the JavaScript App Platform Industry Leader

SAN FRANCISCO, June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Meteor Development Group (MDG), the creator of the first unified JavaScript application development platform for mobile and web, today announced an agreement to acquire Percolate Studio.

Percolate Studio designs and engineers digital products and has significant, direct experience in building, deploying and supporting production apps with Meteor. Percolate team members will join Meteor in a variety of roles across the company such as product development and customer success. Zoltan Olah, co-founder of Percolate Studio, will lead Meteor customer success to ensure developers, startups, and enterprises alike have the necessary support to build amazing apps.

As part of this function, Meteor will be offering a commercial developer subscription to provide technical support and design review assistance to its customers. This offering will ensure greater interaction for those customers who would like assurance that they can receive guaranteed support when they need it, benefiting both Meteor customers as well as its partner ecosystem of service providers.
