Metro-Detroit Author Releases "pho-etry by ellen" Book Collection

WATERFORD, Mich., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The "pho-etry by ellen" Collection launched today with its first four books in an on-going series, which include: My Garden in June, My Garden in August, Butterflies Flutter By, and Strength for the Journey.

The collection, which primarily features photos of nature along with original poetry, offers a variety of themes, ranging from birthdays to sympathy and everything in between. This makes them fitting as gifts for various occasions as well as simple pleasure reading. 

"If it's an occasion you can buy a greeting card for, you will find a book of pho-etry to either accompany it or give in its place," explains author Ellen Hajduk. Ms. Hajduk, of Waterford, Michigan, has created over 30 titles. Most of her photography used in her books is captured near her home, making them true "made in Michigan" products.

Ms. Hajduk originally began creating pho-etry for friends and family in place of sending a traditional gift or card. "After years of requests and encouragement, I am so pleased to be able to share my art with others and allow them, too, to share it with their loved ones," said Ms. Hajduk.
