MetroPCS and USA Basketball Announce Official Partnership

DALLAS, Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE: PCS), and USA Basketball today announced a marketing partnership agreement which makes the flat-rate, no annual contract wireless service provider the official wireless partner of USA Basketball.

In addition to serving as an official partner of the USA Basketball men's and women's national teams in 2012, this partnership will give fans across the country special access to their favorite USA Basketball legends through a nationwide mobile tour. Stopping in various cities across the country, the tour will introduce unique promotions to consumers and include former Team USA player appearances, autograph signings, games and more. Fans will also have the opportunity to receive VIP access to exhibition games in the U.S.
