Metropolitan National Bank Recruits Al Botta to Run CashZone Financial Services Subsidiary
Prepaid Debit Card Industry Heavyweight Will Oversee Expansion of CashZone Prepaid Visa Card and Evolution of Check Cashing and Related Financial Services
NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Metropolitan National Bank®, a New York City-based community bank, has hired Al Botta for the position of Senior Vice President, Metropolitan National Bank, and Senior Vice President, Marketing & Operations, CashZone®, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank.
Mr. Botta, who has more than 10 years experience with all facets of prepaid cards and a total of 17 years in the payments and card industry, will be responsible for expanding Metropolitan National Bank's prepaid card business. The Bank, which has to date focused exclusively on New York City, will now expand its efforts regionally and nationally. Mr. Botta will spearhead this drive.

Al and his wife, Alexis, and their two children live in New York, New York.
