Mobile Versions of Action/Adventure Games Compliments NOLO 6DoF VR System
BOSTON, June 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MetroVR Studios, Inc. (MVRS) a Boston-based immersive VR game developer and NOLO VR Co., Ltd the parent company of the NOLO HOME™ Mobile VR Application Platform, are pleased to announce they have a signed an international distribution agreement.
MVRS titles Orion13™ a self-aware robot's search to find home, and Quest of the Pirate King™ a swashbuckling pirate crew's voyage to regain their lost treasure, are both now available on the NOLO HOME™ platform.
MVRS is an innovative studio focused on bringing next-generation immersive VR experiences to the marketplace. MVRS titles feature multi-character Collaborative AI gameplay (CAI), movie-like plot arcs and "Open-World Locomotion" allowing freedom of player movement inside the game environment. "Early-generation VR titles lacked depth in concept, content and characters," stated Michael Clebnik Co-Founder and CEO of MVRS. "While our focus is on full game titles for the PC and console markets, the emerging mobile platform was a challenge we decided to tackle. We're thrilled to have been able to address compression requirements that mobile gaming represents." The games are currently available in North America, China and Japan on NOLO HOME™.
Chen Xu, Co-Founder & CMO of NOLO Co., Ltd., added, "MVRS's multi-character Collaborative gameplay is actually a brilliant idea and I found it very entertaining in VR when I first tried it at Game Developers Conference. The ability to play as different characters and collaborate in one game brings great potential to VR content development."
NOLO HOME™ is a Mobile VR platform, and the world's first ever 6-DoF (Six-degrees of freedom) Mobile VR Application Platform for smartphone. By attaching content found on NOLO HOME + NOLO CV1+ Android Smartphones, users can immerse in the virtual world, freely and wirelessly at anytime, anywhere.
