Mexx Worldwide Strengthens Product Team

AMSTERDAM, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Mexx International continues to build a world class management team, with a further key appointment in its Product group.

Sabine Tramontana will join Mexx as Head of Buying & Technical Product Development for Apparel, effective June 1st, 2010. In this role, Sabine will be a member of the Apparel Management Team and she will report directly to Jim Nowak, Global Product Director for Mexx.

Sabine joins Mexx from Germany where she recently held the position of Head of Buying & Technical Design Women Casual for Esprit. In this role, Sabine was responsible for vendor management, fabric sourcing, technical product development and overall quality of the twelve annual Women Casual collections which make up a significant proportion of the turnover of the corporation.

Sabine joined Esprit in 1993 where she also held Head of Buying roles in the Kid and the Men Casual businesses.
