DALLAS, Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- BBG, a leading independent national commercial real estate valuation, advisory and assessment firm, today announced the appointment of Michael Ramos to Director.
In his new position, Mr. Ramos will be responsible for market valuations, quality control, new business development and client management in the metropolitan Philadelphia market, which is ranked as one of the most active U.S. commercial real estate markets.
Mr. Ramos has deep experience and expertise in the valuation of multi-family residences, urban mixed-use assets, office buildings, manufactured housing parks, parking garages and vacant land. In his career, he has provided valuations for tax appeals, financing, equity participation and due diligence support for insurance and financial services companies, investors, developers, and law firms.
Before joining BBG, Mr. Ramos served as an Associate at Newmark Knight Frank's Valuation and Advisory practice at the firm's Philadelphia office. Earlier, he worked as a Property Manager with Tri-Star Equities in New York City and State Street Bank's mutual fund accounting department in Boston.
Mr. Ramos is a Certified General Appraiser with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a candidate for designation with the Appraisal Institute. He earned a master of science degree in real estate from New York University and a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Richmond.
