Michal Kadar wins BEST IN GOLD Award for CADAR At COUTURE Design Awards
LAS VEGAS, June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Michal Kadar, Creative Director of CADAR, a fine jewelry brand based in New York City, took home "Best in Gold" at the COUTURE Design Awards. Nearly 1,000 designers, editors and retailers from the COUTURE community gathered to celebrate the nominees and winners.
Michal Kadar humbly accepted her award on stage among her peers and the CADAR family. As COUTURE's Director, Gannon Brousseau explained from the stage, "Tonight is when we celebrate the incredible artists who labor an entire year to create these works of art, and showcase their hearts and souls within their salons." He then went on to thank this year's panel of judges, Melissa Geiser from Stanley Korshak, Julie Thom from Von Bargen's, Daisy Shaw from Vanity Fair, Katerina Perez of Katerina Perez, and designer Yossi Harari, for their time, insight and expertise in selecting the winning designs and finalists.
Kadar is honored to receive recognition for her timeless jewelry. Each piece is handcrafted in both New York City and Italy by local artisans. The Collection is classically designed using yellow gold and diamonds, and reflects the singular standards of Kadar herself, as well as the elemental beauty, power and the iconic nature of fine jewelry. As mentioned at the awards ceremony, "Throughout history, gold has been a standard of excellence and superiority to which the world's greatest talents aspire. In this year's submissions, excellence and superiority reign supreme," and, Kadar certainly does have that "golden touch."

Of note, also presented that evening was the Cindy Edelstein Award by Cindy's daughter, Remy, to designer Stephen Webster.
