Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest Presents The Modern Man Showcase And Best-Dressed Contest

DETROIT, June 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- We are pleased to announce "The Modern Man Showcase and Best Dressed Contest," an annual epic promotional event for Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest! We will welcome our guests from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on June 20, 2012 for a showcase of men's fashion with an inspiring twist. The venue for this year's platform, and fundraiser for Forgotten Harvest, will be held within Judy Frankel Antiques Centre of Troy, 2830 W. Maple Rd. Troy, MI 48084. This extraordinary 10,000-square-foot gallery is brimful of European and American fine furnishings and decorative arts, spanning from the turn of the century to modernism.

Throughout the gallery, there will be multiple themed vignettes, combining decor of a time gone by, with displays featuring today's menswear. Guests will see the latest, cutting-edge looks from prestigious men's boutiques, designers or stylists, including The Claymore Shop, That's Maple, Carl Sterr, and more. Researched photographs will assist in exposing the fascinating impressions that historical men's fashion has had on contemporary trends.

Foremost, Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest will establish "The Modern Man Showcase and Best Dressed Contest", dedicated to those who are enthralled with being a well-dressed gent, and that have respect and recognition of the strong influence men's fashion has played in their daily lives. This tradition will highlight males who see the value in a stellar impression, savvy style, and/or the ability to express themselves through fashion.

Upon arrival, the guests will stroll through the gallery enjoying the evening. Our distinguished judges; editor of StyleLine Magazine Karen Buscemi, Detroit's renown Karen Newman, founder and CEO of Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest Leslie Ann Pilling and Peter Fezzey of Forgotten Harvest, a mystery judge and more, will also be observing the attendees to determine the winner of "The Modern Man Best Dressed Contest." The notable judges were selected for their eye for style, commitment to excellence and refined attention to detail. The winner of this unprecedented award will have confidently succeeded in expressing his individuality through fashion, and will be represented as "The Modern Man Best Dressed of 2012" for Michigan F.A.S.H.
