Microsoft and Equisys Announce the Availability of Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

ATLANTA, Oct. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Microsoft and Equisys today announced the availability of Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, a new downloadable document management module that integrates Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 with Microsoft Office 365 - providing NAV users on a Business Ready Enhancement Plan with key document management capabilities at no additional license cost.

First announced at the Directions EMEA conference in May, Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV is the result of a collaboration between Microsoft and Equisys to combine the capabilities of Microsoft's cloud-based Office 365 suite with Zetadocs' document management functionality. It helps to reduce the mountains of paper used by many organizations and delivers greater business efficiency, improved customer service and lower carbon footprints for Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers.

As the new foundation level edition in the Zetadocs family, Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV maintains the product suite's focus on streamlining everyday business processes such as Invoicing, Supplier Invoice Processing and Proof of Delivery Tracking - delivering three essential document management capabilities:

• Drag & Drop Storage: By dragging and dropping any file, email or scanned document directly into Microsoft Dynamics NAV's RoleTailored client, Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV allows users to automatically store items directly against their relevant NAV record and within SharePoint Online.
• Save & Send Reports: Common Microsoft Dynamics NAV reports such as invoices and statements can be emailed to customers via the ribbon or 'Action Pane' -- with copies automatically saved for future on screen retrieval. 
• Document Approval: Simple SharePoint approval workflows can be both started and monitored via the integrated Zetadocs 'FactBox' within Microsoft Dynamics NAV when the customer has subscribed to an Enterprise plan for Microsoft Office 365.

In addition to the above, further automation and customization features such as sending batches of reports by email, or filing documents automatically using barcode recognition, are available via upgrades to the Zetadocs Essentials and Zetadocs Plus editions.
