Mike Giuffrida Joins Family Life Education Board

HARTFORD, Conn., April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ForeSite Technologies is proud to announce that company president Mike Giuffrida has been appointed to the board of Family Life Education (FLE), a nonprofit social service agency in Hartford serving children and families since 1987.

Giuffrida founded ForeSite Technologies, Inc. in 1997, and has since established ForeSite as a full-service business technology firm in East Hartford. The company works with busy business owners and nonprofits to provide for all their tech needs, designing solutions and troubleshooting problems for their computers, networks and websites.

"Over my 14 years of work at ForeSite, I've been able to help our clients grow and expand," Giuffrida said. "Now, as a board member at Family Life Education, I'll be able to use my experience to help children and families grow too."

Family Life Education is a Hartford-based nonprofit that aims to build a healthy community, strengthen families, and promote the well-being of children and youth through education, outreach, and support services. They work with a dedicated group of staff and volunteers to help provide children and families with the tools to succeed, including parenting classes and support, nutrition education, early childhood education and regular screening for developmental delays. Material goods are distributed including school supplies, diapers, formula, clothing, books and food.

As a board member, Giuffrida will be part of the team that works to fulfill the organization's mission.  He will be responsible for helping maximize the resources of FLE as well as working to ensure the long term viability of the organization.  One of the activities of the board is the annual fall gala. This year's gala will support an innovative idea of FLE for the development of a Children's Gym/Family Wellness Center with a kitchen classroom.
