MIL-P-50884, Type 4 Recertification Completes Vulcan Flex Circuit Program

LONDONDERRY, N.H., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation (VFCC), a division of Vulcan Electric Company, announced today that it has completed its recertification program to fabricate flexible printed circuit boards (FPC) in accordance with the requirements of MIL-P-50884.

This final certification addresses rigid-flex circuit boards - also known as Type 4 - fabricated with an adhesive construction. This is the third and final in a series of recertifications to this specification that VFCC has recently obtained, subjecting it to the full range of flex circuits for defense and aerospace applications.
