Military.com Launches Spouse Channel for Military Spouses

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Military.com announced the launch of its new and improved spouse channel today, unveiling expanded content, a new design and more comprehensive links to the variety of social media, blogs and news stories addressing military spouse issues.

Improved content includes a daily news carousel featuring top stories; feeds from SpouseBUZZ, a blog written by military spouses, links to columns like "The Paycheck Chronicles," "Mandatory Fun" by Jacey Eckhart, and featured information on benefits changes from Terry Howell, managing Editor of Benefits for Military.com.  Spouses can also access the wide array of social media tools and links on the "Social Spouse" page as well as navigate to the robust discussions going on in the Military.com spouse forums.  

Other improvements include featured content on military spouse employment and job searches, a deployment section and advice on re-integration.
